If any member of the Commission is absent or unable to act, the Governor in Council may appoint a temporary substitute member for such term and on such conditions as the Governor in Council prescribes.

A member is eligible for re-appointment on the expiration of this term of office.

If a director of a parent Crown corporation is not appointed to take office on the expiration of the term of an incumbent director, other than an officer-director, the incumbent director continues in office until a successor is appointed.
